Application and function

The shut-off valves are used to safely shut off level indicators to the vessel/steam boiler. The range of applications for the shut-off valves covers the product range of reflective, transparent and bi-colour level gauges in the pressure range up to 120 bar.

The product complies with EU Directive 2014/68/EU and the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code.

They are always equipped with a ball self-closing safety function.

Technical basic equipment

• Valve body made of pressure vessel steel according to DIN and ASME
• Valve internal parts made of stainless steel
• Process connection flange PN40 DN20
• Self-closing ball for automatic shut-off in the event of glass breakage
• With back seal to relieve the stuffing box packing
