2-point level controller DLR2

with level signalling (LW) or (HW)

Application and function

The DLR2 is, in combination with the IGEMA level probes, a two-point level controller with LW- or HW-signalling, which can be used in steam boilers or in tanks with conductive liquids.

The product meets EU Directive 2014/658/EU (PED).

Regulations applied:
AD2000, EN61000-6-2, EN61000-6-4, EN61010-1

Function DLR2

  • Inlet control via two electrode rods of different lengths. The pump is switched on, when both electrode rods are emersed. As soon as both electrode rods are immersed, the pump is switched off.

  • Discharge control via two electrode rods of different lengths. The drain valve is opened when both electrode rods are immersed. Once both electrode rods are emersed, the valve is closed.

LW-signaling

When the electrode rod is immersed, the relay is energised and the alarm contacts are closed. No alarm (LED "Limit") should be indicated. If the electrode rod is emersed, the relay is de-energised and the relay contact opens (closed-circuit principle). The red indicator lamp "Limit" lights up.

HW-signaling

When the probe is emersed, the relay is energised and the alarm contacts are closed. No alarm (LED "Limit") should be indicated. If the electrode rod is immersed, the relay is de-energised and the relay contact opens (closed-circuit principle). The red indicator lamp "Limit" lights up.
