IGEMA's new production facility in Münster / Westfalia

The continuous growth of IGEMA and the further development of our product range in the last years has led us to the construction of a new production and assembly facility in the Hansa- BusinessPark in Münster, Germany. It will enable us to expand our production and capacity considerably. Münster is located conveniently between Dortmund and Bremen with direct access to the A1 Autobahn.

The new facility is now finished and the first departments have already moved in! As of October, assembly of the first product groups (Magnetic Level Gauges, Mechanical Controllers and Limiters, Level Switches, Condensate Traps, and Electronic Boiler Monitoring Systems etc. ) has begun gradually in Münster. Due to the technical requirements the heat technology components will also be gradually moved to Münster (IGEMA EcoSteam, IGEMA EcoEnergy etc.), although the assembly of the Direct Level Gauges (Reflex, Transparent and Bi-Colour) will continue in Aachen.

The new site will be the Headquarters of IGEMA, where all management activities shall be run from. The site in Aachen will be transformed into a sales and service.

The Sales and Distribution departments will be spread over the two sites as follow: Strategic Sales, Key Account Management and Marketing are located in Münster; Order Processing and Customer Service will remain in Aachen.

Over the last few months in Münster, new well-trained professionals from all departments have been working along side our experienced employees from Aachen to incorporate their skills with one another.

A "soon to be complete" highlight in Münster will be the Boiler-house room. It will be used for training, demonstration and testing purposes. Once complete, the entire steam and condensate process can be easily observed and "taught" from a safer and more comfortable environment. The benefit of having this facility at our Headquarters site aims to allow customers, business partners, certifying bodies (e.g. TÜV, DEKRA) and universities to have a direct view and understanding of the diversity and the applications in which our products can be used.
